So you think it’s too expensive?
Today I was offered a commission for four children’s outfits in the scottish style. It should be very close to authentic and includea kilt, frilly shirt a jacket and a head covering. I was very flattered and here is why:In the real world the whole package for an adult would cost about $1,500.00 and up, somewhat less for a child but not that much.However, you could rent an outfit for your child for $95.00 plus tax including all the accessories to make it look authentic.I explained all of this and to repeat, I am so flattered because the expectation is that I can make four individually fittedoutfits authentic looking mind you, for less than the $95.00 rental price and have it ready in four week’s time. Oh yes, of course I would have to show a sample or at least pictures of what it would be before the order would be confirmed. I am good, and sometimes I am amazing, but I am not so good that I can beat the experts at their game and for less money too. I have tried it in the past and sometimes it was amazing but mostly I lost sleep, money and my sanity.
